No matter what valleys you walk through. Be utterly dependent on the Lord and you will be filled with light and joy. That light and joy might look different than you imagined, but it will be there," which in some ways connects back to the question I asked about the last sermon. So, another question: Many times people are overwhelmed with their suffering to the point that they grow comfortable with it, and can't put it down. They don't like it, but the fear of not having it, of letting it go or putting their faith in something greater than themselves, especially God, is harder and more painful than the burdens which they carry. What is the advice to someone who needs to let go, but can't? How can someone "Be utterly dependent on the Lord" that they may be "filled with light and joy"?
